Arkong Bato

Barangay Arkong Bato is a historical barangay named after the famous stone arc landmark that demarcates the boundary between the barangay and Malabon's Brgy. Santulan. The notable stone arc was built by the Americans in 1910, originally as a boundary between Rizal and Bulacan province. Reidents celebrate the Sta. Cruz fiesta every May 1. Some of the barangay's landmarks include the Arkong Bato Chapel and the statue of Delfin Belilia Navarese.

Baranggay Arkong Bato can be easily distinguished among other barangays because of its historical landmarks. As the name implies, the community was identified through out the course of time for its sturdy massive concrete arc that separates the City of Valenzuela from the City of Malabon or the province of Bulacan from Rizal before the creation of Metro Manila Commision. This is also where the statue of Captain Delfin Velilla is located, a katipunero leader that led the people of Polo to re-against the Spaniards and Americans in 1890's.
